Print Pack

Print answer sheets, bingo cards, a join poster, and an answer key for a night on paper.

What the Print Pack is

The Print Pack turns one of your games into PDFs you print and take to the venue. It covers a whole pen-and-paper night: a join poster with the QR code and join code, answer sheets for each round, bingo cards, a scorer's tally grid, a blank scorecard, a run of show, and a host answer key you read and grade from.

It also prints the extras: picture-round handouts, a team check-in poster, and after the night a results poster and winner certificates. Use it when the room has bad signal, or when you just want phones down.

Every game has its own Print Pack page, called Print Venue Pack. The Print Center at /host/print lists all your printables in one place.

Open a game's Print Pack

A Print Pack belongs to a game, and a game exists once it is launched. That happens when you press Create and start now, launch it from its event page, or press Use on a template. A game you saved with Create for later has no pack until you launch it. Launching opens the lobby; nothing plays until you start the game.

  1. Open Print Center in the Promote section of the menu.
  2. Find the game under Game print packs and press Open pack.
  3. Or use the print icon next to a recent game on your dashboard, the Print Pack link on the Events page, or Reprint Pack in the live console during a paper round.

What is in the pack

Download Pack (ZIP) gets everything in one file. The files sit side by side so you can print each one. Below it, Or download individually lets you reprint just one piece.

  1. Join poster: three pages, a full wall poster, a half-page, and a fold-over table tent, each with the QR code and the join code.
  2. Answer sheets: one file per round, one team per page. Bluff, Brainpardy, and Wagering rounds get sheets shaped for how they score. Name That Tune sheets have an Artist box and a Title box for every clip, because the two halves score separately.
  3. Picture handouts: any round with picture questions gets a handout of numbered images with answer lines.
  4. Team check-in poster: for a game with a paper or hybrid round. A wall poster and a table tent with a QR code tables scan to type in their team name.
  5. Bingo cards: unique 5x5 cards for each bingo round.
  6. Scorer worksheet: a tally grid with a row per team and a column per round.
  7. Scorecard: a blank final-standings sheet for the end of the night.
  8. Run of show: one page listing every round with its type, question count, and answer mode.
  9. Host answer key: every question and its correct answer. This one is for the host and scorer only.

The check-in poster and the picture handouts are also separate downloads on the page, so you can reprint one without the rest.

The join poster QR code

If the game was launched from an event, the QR code points at the event link, so one poster works for all of that event's activities. Otherwise it points at the game's own join link. The join code prints large underneath for anyone whose camera will not scan.

Put the wall poster on the door, the half-page at the bar, and a table tent on each table. They all carry the same code.

Set your team and card counts

Expected teams sets how many answer sheets print and how many rows the scorer worksheet has. It starts at 10 and goes up to 50. Set it a little above the teams you expect so you have spares.

Bingo cards sets how many cards print for each bingo round. It starts at 30 and goes up to 50, for a single bingo download and for the whole pack. Every card is different, and the same game prints the same set each time, so a reprint matches the cards already on the tables.

Both numbers are saved with the game, so they are there the next time you open the page.

Running the night on paper

Hand each team its answer sheet before a round and collect it when time is up. The scorer marks it against the host answer key and writes the round score on the worksheet. Read the running totals off that grid.

  1. Print the pack the day before and sort it into round order.
  2. Put up the join poster and table tents when you arrive.
  3. Hand out answer sheets round by round and collect them at the end of each.
  4. Grade from the host answer key and tally on the scorer worksheet, or tick each answer in the live console's By question grid and let it add up.
  5. Fill in the scorecard at the end and post it or hand it out.

Keep the host answer key at the scoring table, not on the tables.

Slides: your show as a PowerPoint

Under Slides on the same page, Download PowerPoint turns the game into a 16:9 deck in the game's colors: a title slide, a title for each round, one slide per question with its lettered options and pictures, and the answers. Multiple choice options come out in the same order the phones and the TV use. Music clips show as Clip 1, Clip 2, never the song name.

The Answers menu next to it puts the answer slides at the end of each round, right after each question, or nowhere. The deck opens in PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides, so you can run the night off your own laptop or keep your show outside Brainflood. The Print Center has a PowerPoint button for each game too.

After the night

Once a game is over, two more prints are ready. The results poster shows the podium and the full standings. Winner certificates print one landscape page for each of the top three teams, with your logo if you uploaded one in Branding. A team you took out of the prizes stays in the full standings but gets no podium spot and no certificate.

Find them under After the night on the game's Print Pack page, or use the Results and Certificates buttons next to the game in the Print Center.

The Print Center

The Print Center at /host/print gathers everything you can print. Event posters lists your upcoming events; each poster shows what, when, and where, with a QR code to the event page for RSVPs. Game print packs lists your recent games. Tip signage opens the tip table tents and posters once you have a tip method with a link. Flyers lists the flyers you made in the Flyer Studio.

QR code cards opens /host/qr-cards. Pick what the code points at: your public host site or one of your games. Then pick a layout (hand-out cards, table cards, a folded tent, half pages, or a full poster), a print style, a headline, and how many sheets. Press Print, or Customize in Flyer Studio for full design control.

The Print Pack is free on every plan.

If a bingo round cannot make cards (for example too few items), the ZIP holds a short text note naming that round instead of failing. You catch the problem at home, not at the venue.

You can only print your own games.
