What Bingo is

Every player gets their own random 5x5 card on their phone. The center square is FREE and already marked. No two cards are the same, so everyone is in their own race.

The host calls items one at a time. When a called item is on your card, you mark (daub) it. The first players to complete the round's pattern and tap BINGO take the points.

How a round plays out

Watch the calls come in. The last five calls stay at the top of your card, so you can catch up if you look away. The TV shows every call and the win pattern.

Tap a square to mark it once its item has been called. Tapping a square that has not been called shows "Not called yet". Turn on Auto-mark and the app marks each new call for you. Your phone remembers that choice.

Your card warns you when you are 1 or 2 squares away. The BINGO button lights up only when your marks complete the pattern. Tap it to claim. The server checks your card against the items actually called, and a valid claim gets its place right away.

Variants

Standard Bingo

The classic. The host calls items and you mark the match.

By default the calls are the classic 75 number balls (B 1-15, I 16-30, N 31-45, G 46-60, O 61-75). Each column of your card holds only its own letter's numbers. The TV shows the full number board and lights each one as it is called.

The host can use a custom list instead: 25 or more items of their own, like song titles or venue in-jokes. Those land anywhere on the card, so the card has no B-I-N-G-O letters, and the TV lists the calls instead of the number board.

Trivia Bingo

Squares are trivia answers, so you have to know the answer to find the right square.

Instead of calling an item, the host shows a question on the TV and your phone. When the host reveals the answer, that answer is the call. Find it on your card and mark it.

The host needs at least 25 multiple choice questions. Every answer must be different and 40 characters or fewer, so it fits a square. True/False questions are left out, since their answers repeat. Drawing from a question pack keeps only answers that fit.

If pre-marking is on, you can bet a square before the reveal. A right bet earns a bonus. A wrong bet costs the penalty, if the host set one. You get one bet per question, and tapping a new square moves it. You cannot bet the FREE center or an answer that is already out.

Ways to win

Single Line

Mark any one full line: a row, a column, or a diagonal. There are 12 ways to win, so this is the fastest pattern. Lines through the middle need only 4 of your own marks, since the center is FREE.

5 square(s) to complete

Four Corners

Mark the four corner squares. It is only 4 squares, but they are fixed, so it runs longer than a line. It is the one pattern that does not use the FREE center.

4 square(s) to complete

X Pattern

Mark both diagonals so your marks form an X. That is 9 squares, and the FREE center counts for both.

9 square(s) to complete

Full Card (Blackout)

Mark every square on the card. This is the longest finish, good for a last round.

25 square(s) to complete

Host setup options

OptionWhat it controls
Variant Default: standard
Classic called-item bingo, or trivia-answer bingo.
Standard: you call items and players mark the match. Trivia: you ask a question, and its answer is the square to mark. Trivia needs at least 25 multiple choice questions with different, short answers (40 characters or fewer).
Win Condition Default: line
The pattern players must complete to call BINGO.
A single line ends the round fastest. Four Corners and X take longer. Full Card runs the longest. Pick by how long you want the round to last.
Max Winners Default: 3 (range 1 to 3)
How many places score before the round closes.
The first valid claim is 1st, the next is 2nd, and so on. Only the top 3 places pay (1st 50, 2nd 30, 3rd 20). The round ends on its own once the last place is filled.
Items Source Default: auto Only: standard variant
Use the classic number balls, or your own list.
Auto uses the classic 75-ball set (B 1-15, I 16-30, N 31-45, G 46-60, O 61-75), and each card column holds only its own letter's numbers. Custom lets you type 25 or more of your own items (songs, movies, in-jokes), placed anywhere on the card. For printed cards, Auto builds the squares from the round's question answers instead, and the paper round plays as Trivia Bingo. Items that mean the same thing, like 6 and Six, count once.
Pre-Marking (early bets) Default: On Only: trivia variant
Let players bet a square before the answer is revealed.
Turns on the early-bet game described below. Set it in the round designer (Trivia variant), or in the live console when you start a Bingo session by hand.
See how it works, in pictures →
Pre-Mark Bonus Default: 15 (range 0 to 100) Only: trivia variant + pre-marking on
Bonus points for a correct early bet.
Higher values make betting a bigger swing. Set in the round designer or the live console, in steps of 5.
Pre-Mark Penalty Default: 5 (range 0 to 100) Only: trivia variant + pre-marking on
Points lost on a wrong early bet (0 = just for fun).
Set it to 0 to make betting risk-free, or raise it to punish wild guesses. Set in the round designer or the live console, in steps of 5.

A Bingo round, step by step

Your card
You get your own 5x5 card. The center square is FREE.
Calls come in
The host calls items. In Trivia Bingo, each question's answer is the call.
Mark it
Tap a called square to mark it. Or turn on Auto-mark.
BINGO
Finish the pattern and the BINGO button lights up. Tap it fast.
Top places score
1st gets 50, 2nd gets 30, 3rd gets 20. You can win once per round.

The win pattern shows on the TV for the whole round.

Your phone shows the last five calls, and warns you when you are 1 or 2 squares away.

Early bets, one question at a time

Question up
A trivia question is asked; one square on your card is its answer.
Bet a square
Before the reveal, tap the square you think it is. Tap another square to move your bet.
Hit
The answer is your square: it gets marked and you earn the bonus.
Miss
The answer is somewhere else: you lose the penalty, or nothing if it is zero.
Same finish
The win pattern still decides the places.

Early bets exist in Trivia Bingo only. You cannot bet the FREE center or an answer that is already out.

The host sets the bonus and penalty when building the round. A zero penalty makes betting pure upside. Bet points land on your score when the round closes.

🏆 Glory Points

Bingo points decide who wins the round, but they are separate from Glory Points (GP), the season-long score that ranks you across every game mode on the global leaderboard.

Bingo runs as a round inside a game, so it does not pay GP on its own. Your bingo results roll into your game score, and GP is awarded once when the whole game finishes. Each square you mark and each claim counts as playing. Finishing near the top and playing the full session push your GP up. See the Glory Points guide for the full breakdown.

Strategy & tips

On Full Card rounds, turn on Auto-mark. Every square matters, and one missed square costs you the win.

In Trivia Bingo, only bet when you are sure. A wrong bet can cost points if the host set a penalty. When the penalty is 0, bet freely.

Tap BINGO the moment it lights up. Places go to whoever taps first.

Fairness & the fine print

The center square is always FREE and marked for everyone. It counts toward any pattern through the middle. Four Corners is the one pattern that does not use it.

Claims are checked on the server against the items actually called. You cannot win on a square whose item has not come up yet.

Places are first come, first served: the first valid claim is 1st, the next is 2nd, and so on. There are no shared places. If two players finish on the same call, whoever taps BINGO first gets the higher place.

You can win once per round. A second pattern does not earn a second place. After your win, your phone shows your place until the round ends. If every place is already taken, a late BINGO scores nothing, and your phone tells you so.

Points go to you and your team. They land on the scoreboard when the round closes: your place points plus or minus any early-bet points. A lost bet can take a score down to zero but never below it, and never raises a score that is already below zero.

Bingo has no timer for players. A wrong claim shows "Not quite!" and costs nothing, and you can keep playing. Only the host sees the wrong claim, not the TV. After a wrong claim, wait a few seconds before the next one. A real bingo is never held back.

If every item is called and the places are not filled, the host ends the round. Only the places already won score.

Running it (host): the Bingo session starts on its own when you reach the round, with the settings you saved on the round. If a Trivia round has too few usable questions, the console opens a form instead, so you can add questions or switch to Standard Bingo. In Standard Bingo, press Call Next Item, or turn on Auto-Call (every 5, 10, or 15 seconds). Keys: Space calls the next item, A toggles Auto-Call, B re-sends the board to the TV, and Ctrl+E ends the round (it asks first). Auto-Call, Space and A are for Standard Bingo only.

In Trivia Bingo you work two buttons: Show Next Question, then Reveal Answer. Your console shows the answer before you reveal it. After each reveal it shows how many early bets were right and wrong.

The console counts winners against your Max Winners setting and ends the round on its own when the last place is filled. Complete Round ends it early. When the round is over, the console shows a Next round button (Finish game on the last round). The Bingo Voice panel can read each call, each claim, and round events out loud.

Reloading the console picks up where the round is: the question on screen, the winners so far, or the finished round. It never deals new cards for a round that already started.

Paper cards: set the round to Paper and print unique cards from the Print Center. Each card has an ID printed on it. During play the Paper caller view runs the round from the same items the cards were printed from. Question answers play as Trivia Bingo: show the question, read it aloud, then reveal the answer. Custom items play as Standard Bingo: call the next item, drawn at random. When someone shouts BINGO, type their card ID and pick the pattern, and the console checks it against the items called so far. The check does not add points: adjust the team's score yourself. Complete Round ends it.
