Play a free daily game Start hosting freeSports Pick'em is a live game built on real sports. The host picks tonight's games: NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, or soccer. The room predicts how they turn out on their phones.
Each game comes with its own questions. Who wins, over or under a total, the margin, overtime, a player stat, and more. Answer the ones you like. When a real game ends, your picks on it are scored and the leaderboard moves.
Nobody waits on a host to read a question. You make your picks early, then watch the board change as the night's games finish.
Scan the QR or type the 5-character code. Enter a name. No account is needed. Your phone remembers you if you reload.
Open the Picks tab. Tap an answer on any question you want in on. You do not have to answer everything. You can change a pick until that game's picks close.
A game's picks close at its start time. The host can also close every pick at once with Close all picks. Picks are also closed while the host has the game paused. Your phone greys out the buttons and says why.
Mark one pick as your Lock of the Night. A right Lock pays double. A wrong Lock takes that question's points off your total. You can move your Lock until the game it is on starts. Once that game starts, your Lock is final and you can't set another one.
When a game is final, your picks on it are scored. String right picks together and each one pays more. Your phone has four tabs: Picks, Ranks, Live (scores, plays and who is hot), and Teams when the host turns teams on.
When the host ends the night, the TV shows the winner and the final standings, and so does your Ranks tab. If the host has tip links, a Tip your host button appears.

| Games Default: host pick |
The real games on tonight's slate.
Pick a date (Today, Tomorrow, This Saturday, or any date). Filter by sport if you like, then tap the games you want. Soccer covers the Premier League, MLS, Champions League, Europa League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and the World Cup. Each game gets its own set of questions. You can remove a game until it starts. To add games, build a new Pick'em.
|
| Questions on or off Default: all on |
Which questions players see on each game.
On the Slate tab, turn a question off to hide it from players on every game it applies to. Turn it back on any time. Picks already made on a question you turn off still count.
|
| Auto-judge after FINAL Default: On |
Score picks on their own once a game is final.
On: a few minutes after a game goes final, every pick on it is scored and points post. Off: the automatic pass leaves picks alone and they wait in Needs judging. Typing a final score on the Live tab still scores that game's picks right away either way. Anything that cannot be settled cleanly (a push, a tie, a postponed game, missing stats, a typed player name, or a host-pick question) waits for you in Needs judging on the Live tab.

| Points per correct pick (fallback) Default: 50 (range 1 to 10000) |
Points for a right pick on a question with no price of its own.
Most questions carry their own price, from 25 to 100 points by how hard they are. This value pays for any question without one. Changing it only affects picks scored from then on.
|
| Streak bonuses Default: On |
Reward players for stringing correct picks together.
On: correct picks in a row are worth more (3 in a row adds 10 percent, 5 in a row adds 20 percent, 10 in a row adds 50 percent). Off: every correct pick pays its plain price no matter how hot a player is.
|
| Teams Default: Off |
Let players group into named teams.
Switch it on when you build the Pick'em or any time in Settings. On: players pick or start a team when they join, you can manage teams in the Lobby tab, and phones get a Teams tab. A team's score is the sum of its members' points, never below zero. Joining again does not switch a player's team. Only you can move a player, in the Lobby tab.
|
| Leaderboard on TV Default: On |
Rotate the standings onto the TV.
On: the standings take a turn in the TV rotation once picks start scoring. Off: they stay off the TV.
|
| Highlight clips Default: On |
Play a game's highlight clip on the TV after it ends.
On: a finished game's highlight clip plays on the TV once, when the feed has one, and clears itself after a few minutes. You can also play or stop a clip by hand from the Live tab.
|
| Announce game updates Default: Off |
The TV says when a game starts and when it ends.
On the Ticker tab. On: the TV speaks a short line when a game goes live and when it goes final, with the score, in the voice you picked. Off: it stays quiet.

What the host does, in order. Players can join and pick from the moment the Pick'em exists.
One big bet per player. It doubles a right pick and costs you on a wrong one.
No sports data subscription is needed. The host can read the score off the TV.
Your session points decide tonight's leaderboard. A signed-in player's scored picks also count on the platform-wide leaderboard. A missed Lock counts against it too.
Glory Points are the season-long score that ranks you across every game mode. Signed-in players earn them from the standings when the host ends the Pick'em. A pick judged after that moves the standings, and your Glory moves with them. Players tied on points share a place. See the Glory Points guide for the full breakdown.
Get your picks in early. Each game closes at its start time, and the host may close them all sooner. A plain wrong pick costs nothing, so take a swing on the close calls.
Harder questions pay more. A who-wins pick is worth 25. A player stat pick is worth 100. Spread your picks to match how sure you are.
Spend your Lock where you have an edge. Rivals cannot see your picks, so a bold Lock on a big-price question can jump you up the board.
Protect a streak. Once you have a few right in a row, each new right pick pays more. Be a little choosier while you are hot.
A missed Lock stings but cannot bury you. Your total never drops below zero.
Picks are scored against the real final result, not the host's opinion. The result comes from the live sports feed, or from the final score the host reads off the TV and types in.
Other players' picks stay hidden while picks are open. The TV only shows how the room picked a game once it is underway. Players never see a rival's Lock.
Your Lock is safe from no-decisions. If your Lock's game ends in a push or a tie, or is postponed or canceled, your Lock comes back to you. You can set it on a game that has not started. That pick then scores like a normal pick.
A Lock is not given back when a pick only waits for the host to read the result, like missing player stats or a host pick. The host's call counts with the Lock on it.
Every over/under uses the line the question shows. A pick can't change it.
Scores never go negative. A missed Lock subtracts points, but your total stops at zero.
Some results cannot be settled from the score alone: a push, a tie, a postponed game, or missing stats. Those picks wait for the host instead of being guessed. The host settles them as right, wrong, push or void. A push or void scores nothing either way. Questions about who scores first or a player's stats need play-by-play or box-score data from the feed.
Leaderboard ties are ordered by who has more correct picks.
Question prices: each question pays its own price, from 25 to 100 points. Two-way picks settled by the final score (who wins, first to score) pay 25. Over/unders and yes-or-no picks (overtime, extra innings, both teams to score, clean sheet, a run in the 1st) pay 40. Three-way picks (soccer result, total goals, home run count, which team wins the first quarter) pay 50. Margin of victory and largest lead pay 75. First goal minute pays 90. Player stat picks pay 100.
A question with no price pays the host's fallback value (default 50). A plain wrong pick is worth zero.
Streaks: when streak bonuses are on, a run of right picks pays more (3 in a row adds 10 percent, 5 in a row adds 20 percent, 10 in a row adds 50 percent). The pick that reaches the streak gets the bonus, and the biggest bonus you have earned applies.
Lock of the Night: a right Lock pays double. A missed Lock subtracts the question's price. The streak bonus and the Lock stack, so a hot streak on a right Lock can pay up to about three times the price.
One Lock per player per night. You can move it until the game it is on starts. After that it is final: it can't be moved off a game in progress, and no new Lock can be set. A push, a tie, or a postponed or canceled game gives it back.
Over/under and player-stat lines are set per sport, not per game. For example, every NFL total is 44.5. Per-game lines need odds data the platform does not have yet.
Questions by sport. NFL: winner, total points, margin, first to score, overtime, QB passing yards, touchdown scorer. NBA: winner, total points, first-quarter winner, player points, triple-double, largest lead. MLB: winner, total runs, a run in the 1st, extra innings, pitcher strikeouts, home runs. NHL: winner, total goals, overtime or shootout, first goal, goal scorer. Soccer: home, draw or away, total goals, both teams to score, a home clean sheet, first goal minute, goal scorer.
Host-pick questions (best moment of the game) are judged by the host and never appear on player phones.
No data subscription needed: on the Live tab the host can type a game's score, mark it live (its picks close), and save the final (its picks score right away). A final can only be saved once the game has started. If a game started early, mark it live first: that moves its start time to now. Saving a corrected final re-scores that game's picks: points from the old score come back off and the new ones post.
Removing a game from the slate also takes back any points its picks already scored.
Needs judging, on the Live tab, lists every pick the score can't settle, by game and question. Name what happened to settle a whole question at once, push or void it, or judge one pick at a time. It still works after you end the Pick'em.
Ending the Pick'em while a game is still on is fine. The live score feed keeps following it for a day, and its picks score when it goes final.
The TV: before go-live it shows the join QR, the code, a countdown to the first kickoff and who just joined. After go-live it rotates live scores, how the room picked each live game, standings, who is hot, final recaps, upcoming matchups and sports facts. A scrolling ticker carries scores, the leader, the player count and the host's own messages, plus a fact about each sport and the next kickoff when fun facts are on. After End it keeps the winner, the final standings and the tip QR up until the host starts something else or clears the screen.
TV tools on the Live tab: show the join code, a banner message, a countdown timer, a spoken announcement, a highlight clip, or a slideshow break. A break ends on its own one minute before the next kickoff. You can also launch a quick trivia game on the TV during a lull.
Pause closes picks and stops the live score feed. Resume opens them again for games that have not started, unless you closed all picks. Close all picks and Reopen picks are on the Lobby tab.
Sports Pick'em is phone-only and runs on real games, so there is no paper version.
A Pick'em can run on its own or as one activity in an Event. Launching it from an Event opens the Pick'em host console. Each Pick'em counts toward your plan's monthly games.
A started Pick'em closes itself after 6 quiet hours, or 48 hours after it started.
